Vincent Masekesa is a Zimbabwean cricketer who earned national squad opportunities through his development in domestic cricket. His bowling provides an option for the team to vary its attack, and leg-spin can be particularly useful for challenging batters who are trying to dominate the middle overs. Like other developing international players, he must continue refining his control, variations, and ability to adapt to different conditions.

Masekesa was named in Zimbabwe's ODI and T20I squads for the October 2026 UAE tour. His inclusion offers valuable exposure to international cricket and the chance to learn from experienced teammates. As he progresses, consistent bowling, smart use of flight and pace, and the ability to remain composed against attacking batters will be important to earning more opportunities.
