Sahan Arachchige is a Sri Lankan cricketer whose batting and spin bowling provide versatility in the middle order. He developed through domestic cricket, where players must demonstrate both consistency and adaptability to earn opportunities at national level. His left-handed batting gives the lineup a different angle, while his ability to bowl spin offers a useful option when the captain needs additional control.

Arachchige was selected for Sri Lanka's October 2026 T20I and ODI squads. His role can vary according to conditions and team balance, ranging from adding stability with the bat to contributing overs with spin. For a player working to establish himself internationally, dependable performances in both departments can help secure further opportunities and make him a valuable squad member.
