Muhammad Waseem is one of the leading batters in UAE cricket and has established himself as an aggressive opening batter in international white-ball cricket. He is particularly dangerous during the powerplay because of his ability to score quickly and attack pace and spin. Waseem has also taken a major leadership role for UAE and captained the side at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026.
