Ernest Masuku is a Zimbabwean cricketer who has worked through the domestic game to earn opportunities in the national setup. As a seam bowler, his responsibilities include maintaining a disciplined line, finding movement where conditions allow, and helping the team control the scoring rate. Development at international level requires adapting quickly to unfamiliar pitches and experienced batters.

Masuku was included in Zimbabwe's ODI squad for the October 2026 UAE tri-series. The selection provides an opportunity to demonstrate his bowling skills against international opposition and gain valuable experience alongside senior players. Consistent execution, careful use of variations, and the ability to respond to changing match situations will be important as he works to secure a regular place in Zimbabwe's bowling attack.
