Craig Ervine is an experienced Zimbabwean international batter known for his left-handed stroke play and calm approach under pressure. Born on August 19, 1985, in Harare, he progressed through domestic cricket before establishing himself as a reliable member of the national side. His ability to construct an innings, rotate the strike, and find boundaries at the right moments has made him valuable in the top and middle order.

Ervine has played international cricket across formats and previously served as Zimbabwe's Test and ODI captain. His experience gives the team an important source of leadership, particularly during difficult batting periods. Named in the October 2026 ODI squad for the UAE tri-series, he remains an experienced option who can guide younger players and help Zimbabwe build competitive innings against strong opposition.
