Chamindu Wickramasinghe is a Sri Lankan all-rounder who has progressed through the country's domestic cricket system. His combination of batting and seam bowling provides the potential to contribute in more than one phase of a limited-overs match. Developing all-rounders must learn to adjust their approach to different match situations, from protecting wickets to accelerating the scoring rate or maintaining pressure with the ball.

Wickramasinghe was selected for Sri Lanka's T20I squad for the October 2026 Pakistan series. This opportunity gives him valuable experience in the international environment and the chance to work alongside established players. Continued development in both disciplines will help him compete for a regular place and give Sri Lanka greater flexibility in selecting its playing XI.
